| Dear Audrey, My daughter, grandson and I were at the Hannibal fair this past week-end. I purchased a couple bars of your soap. I got a bar for my husband who has some type of summer skin ailment. I tried it myself that night and was so pleased with the way it made my skin feel. I have type 2 diabetes and this causes my skin to be very dry. Every soap, shower gel, everything I have tried, no matter how moisturizing they claim to be, has caused my skin to be dry and flaky shortly after a shower. Your soap did not, even after I had baked in the heat all day it made me feel very soft. I, too, grew up with lye soap and we even used it in the laundry. Our neighbor made it and we got it from her. Unfortunately, she never taught me how to make it. My Grandma was too busy quilting to make soap any more by then. But I do appreciate the old ways and the ways of nature and I absolutely love your soap and will be ordering more very soon.
