Who is Josie Anyway?

Josie is a bit of a legend in this small community where she reared her seven children. Widowed during the depression, Josie managed to care for her family and hold onto her farm while many of her neighbors lost their land. She was determined to do everything the natural way, never compromising and never giving up. Everyone who dealt with Josie knew that her word was solid as a rock.

This remarkable lady was my grandmother, and I am proud to carry on her tradition of excellence and integrity. As a little girl, I often watched Josie make soap for our family to use.
